Café and bakery on High Street, Kilkenny.

The Copper Kettle bakes everything it sells, every morning, at 7 High Street. Sourdough, brown bread, scones, cakes and a proper brunch, with coffee roasted for us by Brass Lantern Roasters in Waterford.

Hours

Tuesday to Sunday, 8:00 to 17:00. Closed on Mondays. Brunch is served until 15:00; the bakery counter runs until we sell out, which on Saturdays is usually about 14:00.

Bread days

Brown bread and white batch loaves daily. Sourdough on Wednesday, Friday and Saturday. Focaccia on Fridays. To be sure of a loaf, ring before 10:00 and we will set one aside.

Who we are

Opened in 2016 by Róisín Walsh and Dan Keogh. Róisín runs the bakery; Dan runs the floor and the coffee. There are twelve of us in all.
