New patients

You are welcome. Here is what to expect, and the few rules we ask everyone to keep.

Your first visit

Arrive ten minutes early to complete a short medical history form, or fill it in online from the link in your booking email. The first appointment is an examination; treatment, if needed, is planned from there with a written estimate.

Cancellations

Please give us at least 24 hours' notice to cancel or move an appointment. Appointments missed without notice, or cancelled with less than 24 hours' notice, are charged a €40 fee. We waive it for genuine emergencies.

Getting here

We are at 14 Harbour Road, Howth, above the pharmacy. Howth DART station is two minutes' walk. There is free two-hour parking on Harbour Road and a pay car park at the West Pier. The practice is on the first floor, reached by stairs; please tell us if you need step-free access and we will arrange a ground-floor room.

Medical cards

We are not part of the medical card (DTSS) scheme. Medical card holders are welcome as private patients at our standard fees.

Privacy

Your records are kept for eight years after your last visit, as the Dental Council requires, and are never shared without your consent except as the law requires.
